5. Teaching Practice
Prosedure of Teaching
After that we will discuss the material but I will do a review by asking students about the learning in the previous meeting. Here we can make sure whether students still remember the previous material they have learned.
In the next part, I start the lesson by providing motivation in the form of pictures or videos, and I ask some questions to make students guess the topic of the lesson and activate their knowledge of the topic. If the students have guessed today's lesson then I can continue by presenting the learning objectives and guiding questions to the students. The guiding questions will be asked at the end of the discussion, therefore students need to pay attention to the material. It is intended that students always remember the guiding questions during the discussion, because the guiding questions are the main points in the discussion.
After the collaborative activity is complete, I deliver integration in the form of questions. This part functions so that students can relate to their religion and environment when studying the material. Next, I give a quiz related to the material with multiple choice questions. This quiz must be done individually and uses 1/4 paper. After that, I ask students to summarize the material they have learned. At the end of the class, I give an assignment or they summarize the learning outcomes.
Finally, I ask students to stand up and pray, and I say my greetings.
